Exam and Rush01
Staff posted some new rules for the exam. We have to join a Zoom call now with cameras on and stay there during the exam. Leaving the Qualified.io tab is forbidden except if you need help. I can really understand those rules and will adapt to it but they were announced pretty late. For me it was ok as I had basically everything ready for such things. For some peers this was a bit stressful to fulfill the rules.
We talked a lot about this topic in our study group and there were a lot of questions left open. We joined a Zoom call 15 minutes prior the exam. I shut everything down to not click any other thing on my computer unintentionally.
The exam lasts 4h and I went to the restrooms once. Didn’t want to look any suspicious after Wednesday. The next final exam will last 8h. This will be hard I guess.
I think I did ok during the exam. Tasks were pretty hard and I struggled but reached the last exercise. One test case was always wrong and I couldn’t figure out what the issue was until I ran out of time. At least I tried till the end. Last time I had also a good feeling about it but this came back like a boomerang.
There is a community meeting after the exam. Well let’s call it “cry together”. I asked for remaining people and between 30–40 already left. Staff said that this quote is actually good compared to on site Piscines. So we’re around 125 people left.
I joined a Pub quiz hosted by a peer after the meeting. He prepared questions about different topics from different decades. I sucked a lot but had a lot of fun. He will do such a thing next week and I will join for sure.
We got the Rush project. It’s kind of a Sudoku solver but with outline borders with numbers. Very confusing to me. Need to figure it out tomorrow with my group. We actually formed a private chat where we talked about the project for hours. This actually what I am here for. Having fun while coding and laughing with your friends is just amazing.
